CNR PAY PONDS
Pay ponds are ponds that are stocked with numerous fishes from around the world. There are currently 2 freshwater pay ponds in Singapore - Fishing Paradise@ORTO and FW3 Iwarna Fishing Pond. However, the government is taking back land leased to FW3 Iwarna and therefore they will be closing down soon, meaning that Fishing Paradise@ORTO will be the only freshwater pond in Singapore.
Fishing Paradise@ORTO
Fishing Paradise is the largest freshwater pay pond in Singapore and it is heavily stocked with monster fishes over the 25kg mark. Their main monster fishes are the Chao Phraya Catfish and the Red Tail Catfish, which happens to be their mascot. FP is also located 10-15 mins from Khatib MRT, making it a convenient place to go. Recently, they have also came up with a luring pond which is stocked with Barramundi and Toman.
